Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick addressed the company's approach to its established IPs, including Rockstar's GTA and Red Dead Redemption series, during the Q2 2025 investor call. While acknowledging the success of these legacy titles, Zelnick highlighted the inherent risk of over-reliance on them. He emphasized that even highly successful franchises experience a decline in appeal over time, a natural consequence of market dynamics and player preferences.
