Second Life Mobile\'s hotly anticipated public beta is now live!

Second Life, the popular social MMO, is now available in a public beta for iOS and Android devices. Premium subscribers can access the beta immediately via the App Store and Google Play. Free access for non-subscribers hasn't been announced yet.

This mobile beta marks the first time Second Life is publicly available on mobile platforms. While requiring a Premium account limits immediate access for some, it signals a significant step forward and should accelerate the release of further information regarding the mobile version.

For those unfamiliar, Second Life is a pioneering MMO that predates the current metaverse hype.
