Squid Game: New Episodes and Characters Announced

Squid Game: Unleashed is celebrating Season Two with a wave of new content! Get ready for new characters, a fresh map, and exciting challenges. Plus, exclusive rewards await those who watch the new episodes!

Netflix's surprising move to offer Squid Game: Unleashed free to all players, subscribers and non-subscribers alike, before the holidays, has paid off. Now, with this new content drop, they're cleverly incentivizing non-users to sign up by offering enticing rewards for watching Season Two!

So, what's in store for existing players? Starting January 3rd, a new map inspired by the Season Two mini-game, Mingle, will be added. Playable avatars Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik, and rapper Thanos (not the Marvel villain!) will also debut throughout January.

Geum-Ja and Thanos will each have special in-game events on January 3rd and 9th respectively to unlock them. And for those watching the show, there are bonus rewards! Watching episodes of Squid Game Season Two earns in-game Cash and Wild Tokens. Watching up to seven episodes unlocks the Binni Binge-Watcher outfit!

Here's the January content roadmap for Squid Game: Unleashed:

• January 3rd: The Mingle map launches alongside Geum-Ja. The Dalgona Mash Up Collection Event begins (until the 9th), challenging players to complete Mingle-inspired mini-games and collect Dalgona tins.
• January 9th: Thanos arrives with his own recruitment event, Thanos’ Red Light Challenge. Eliminate players using knives to unlock him (event runs until the 14th).
• January 16th: Yong-Sik joins the game as the final character addition in this update.
