In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, getting enough sleep is vital for restoring your health to 100% without relying heavily on food and potions. Here's a comprehensive guide on where and how you can catch some z's in the game.
As you venture into the open world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing your own bed should be a top priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you'll have the option to follow either the blacksmith or miller’s questline. Whichever path you choose, Radovan or Kreyzl will provide you with a place to sleep.
In my gameplay experience, I opted for Radovan, who is conveniently located in Tachov, closer to your starting point. To secure your bed, travel to Tachov, initiate Radovan's questline, and complete the smithing tutorial. Once done, you'll gain access to a room next to the forge where you can rest.
This bed will be marked as your personal bed on the world map, and the room also features an inventory chest for storing your gear. Whenever you need to heal up, simply return to this spot for a restful sleep.
There will be instances when reaching your bed isn't feasible. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with campsites along roadsides and in forests. Some campsites might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before use, while others may be vacant.
Once you locate a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can use the bedrolls for sleeping. Keep in mind that the comfort level at campsites won't match that of a proper bed, but it will suffice in a pinch.
In dire situations, you can even use an NPC's bed, though be cautious—getting caught could lead to a report to the guards unless you can smooth-talk your way out of trouble.
That covers the essentials of sleeping in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more in-depth tips and tricks, including how to use a torch and the best initial perks to select, be sure to check out The Escapist.
