SD Gundam G Generation Eternal: US Network Test Announced!

Contrary to the lack of news since 2022, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is very much alive! A network test is scheduled, opening the doors to players in the US, in addition to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. Applications are now open until December 7th, offering 1500 lucky participants a sneak peek from January 23rd to 28th, 2025.

This latest installment in the strategy JRPG franchise lets you command a vast roster of pilots and mecha from the iconic Gundam universe in grid-based strategic battles. The SD Gundam series, known for its extensive selection of characters and mobile suits, is a fan favorite.

For those unfamiliar, SD Gundam stands for "super deformed," featuring smaller, stylized versions of the classic mecha. At one point, these chibi-style kits even surpassed the popularity of the original designs!

US Release on the Horizon

Gundam fans are eagerly anticipating this new entry. While Bandai Namco's Gundam game releases have had a mixed track record in the past, hopes are high for SD Gundam G Generation Eternal.
