Pokemon Go will soon kick off Mega Gallade Raid Day in time for the new year

Get ready for a Mega Gallade Raid Day in Pokémon Go! This January 11th event brings a chance to encounter the debuting Mega Gallade in Mega Raids, and you might even be lucky enough to find a Shiny Gallade.

The event boasts exciting bonuses, including increased Remote Raid Pass limits (January 10th-11th), up to five extra free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, and boosted Shiny Gallade encounter rates in Mega Raids.

For an extra boost, a $5 Event Ticket offers eight additional Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, increased Rare Candy XL drop rates from Raids, 50% more XP, and double Stardust from Raid Battles.

A Mega Gallade Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will also be available for purchase on the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99 (or local equivalent).
