On August 13th, Owlcat Games, renowned for its acclaimed cRPGs like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, announced its expansion into game publishing. This strategic move, building on the acquisition of META Publishing in 2021, aims to support developers creating compelling narrative-focused games. Owlcat will leverage its expertise to help bring these stories to a wider audience.

Owlcat's decision reflects a commitment to fostering innovative storytelling in gaming. New Games Joining the Owlcat Portfolio

Owlcat has already partnered with two promising studios:

• Emotion Spark Studio (Serbia): Developing Rue Valley, a narrative RPG centered around a protagonist trapped in a time loop within a remote town. The game explores themes of mental health and personal growth as the protagonist unravels the mystery. Owlcat's partnership will focus on enhancing the storytelling and player experience.

• Another Angle Games (Poland): Creating Shadow of the Road, an isometric RPG set in an alternate feudal Japan, blending samurai culture, honor, and tactical turn-based combat. Players will encounter yokai and steampunk technology in a rich narrative setting. Owlcat's support will aid in the game's development and release.
