Orna, The GPS MMORPG, Is Dropping Terra's Legacy To Raise Environmental Awareness

Experience Orna's Terra's Legacy: A Real-World Environmental RPG Event!

Northern Forge Studios' Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO, is launching Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event directly impacting the real world. From September 9th to 19th, players fight pollution-themed enemies and restore polluted locations by planting virtual trees and growing Gaia apples.

Combating Pollution, In-Game and Out

Terra's Legacy blends virtual exploration with real-world environmental action. Players identify polluted or littered areas in their surroundings and submit them through Orna. Northern Forge then transforms these locations into in-game "Gloomsites," representing real-world pollution.

At these Gloomsites, players battle the Murk, pollution-themed enemies, contributing to raising awareness about environmental issues. Defeating the Murk allows players to plant virtual trees and cultivate Gaia apples in these virtual representations of polluted areas. These apples can customize player characters and enhance magical abilities. Other players can also harvest these apples, creating a shared reward system and fostering collaboration.
