In an eagerly anticipated update, NetEase announced on February 11, 2025, the significant changes coming to Marvel Rivals in the second half of Season 1. Fans can look forward to the introduction of Human Torch (classified as a Duelist) and The Thing (as a Vanguard), completing the Fantastic Four lineup in the game on February 21, 2025.

These new additions are set to bring fresh dynamics to the game, and NetEase is also planning a comprehensive balance adjustment to "shake up the battlefield."
