Marvel Contest Of Champions Is Celebrating Halloween This Year With An Increased FPS And More!

Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a spooky Halloween update, adding new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary. This chilling event plunges players into The Battlerealm.

A Halloween Event Unlike Any Other

The update introduces Scream and Jack O’ Lantern as playable champions. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, and Jack O’ Lantern, who transforms victims into terrifying jack-o'-lanterns, promise thrilling additions to the "House of Horrors" event. Players join Jessica Jones to solve a dark mystery leading to a nightmarish carnival.

Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt, a gladiator-style side quest with weekly challenges and branching paths, runs from October 9th to November 6th.

10th Anniversary Celebrations

This Halloween event coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is celebrating with 10 major reveals, including Medusa and Purgatory reworks. The Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza features an Alliance Super Season with bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st - November 15th), is also part of the festivities. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 runs until October 30th, boasting new features emphasizing buffs and critical hits.

60 FPS Update on the Horizon

A 60 FPS gameplay update is slated for November 4th, promising smoother action. Currently, the game is capped at 30 FPS.
