Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst

Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently in the Flagship Event.

Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, has been confirmed. Beta testing for Version 5.4 revealed her as Inazuma's first Standard Banner 5-Star character. Her kit positions her as a premium version of Sucrose, boasting Anemo Catalyst abilities and integrated healing. While Sucrose may excel in certain situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset for most Taser teams.

The official Genshin Impact Twitter account unveiled Mizuki, a tapir yokai and psychologist who is the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse, slightly later than anticipated. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the Version 5.4 Flagship Event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for this update.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Mizuki's addition to the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4 means collectors should prioritize obtaining her Signature Weapon.

Compared to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 is notably smaller in scale. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem acquisition will be lower than usual. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to acquire highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley, unless a Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner character strongly appeals to them.
