FFVII Remake and Rebirth Controllers Fixed by Latest Update

Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation 5. This update resolves issues with controller vibration motors. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from destroying the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, continuing the story after the escape from Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's atmosphere and realism, improving the haptic feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment of the trilogy expands the narrative and emphasizes exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing, sales eventually slowed, ultimately falling short of fiscal year projections. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.

The company clarified that it doesn't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure and remains confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its targets within the 18-month timeframe.
