Crunchyroll Unveils Overlord Mobile Game: Lord of Nazarick - Pre-Registration Open

Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan are collaborating to bring you "Lord of Nazarick," an eagerly anticipated turn-based RPG and the official Overlord mobile game. Set to launch globally, this game will be available on Android this coming fall, with an expected release month of December 2024. Interestingly, it's timed to coincide with the theatrical release of "Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom" in the U.S. and Canada during the same period.

For fans in regions like EMEA and Latin America, Crunchyroll has secured select rights, though exact release dates are yet to be announced. Nonetheless, "Lord of Nazarick" will be free-to-play and is currently open for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.

Drawing inspiration from the anime's iconic narrative, "Lord of Nazarick" follows the journey of Momonga, a typical salaryman trapped in the virtual realm of his beloved MMORPG, Yggdrasil. This game is a must-play for fans of the Isekai genre, as it allows you to experience Momonga's life as the formidable Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown.

The game introduces new, canon scenarios crafted exclusively for this experience. With dynamic gameplay, players can explore roguelite dungeons, tackle boss challenges, and enjoy mini-games. You'll have the chance to recruit over 50 characters from the anime, including the guardians and pleiades, and visit iconic locations such as the Great Tomb of Nazarick and Carne Village.
