Critical Role Postpones Campaign 3 Climax Due to Los Angeles Fires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The show's cast, crew, and community have been directly affected. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further delays are possible.

Campaign 3 is nearing its conclusion, with the number of remaining episodes uncertain. The last episode ended on a significant cliffhanger, leaving fans eager for resolution. The possibility of a new campaign using the Daggerheart TTRPG system is also on the horizon.

The January 9th episode was canceled due to the emergency situation. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray were forced to evacuate, while Dani Carr narrowly avoided the worst of the fires. Sadly, producer Kyle Shire lost his home and belongings. The Critical Role community is expressing relief for the safety of the cast and crew, and offering support.

While a return next week is the goal, patience is requested as the situation evolves. The Critical Role Foundation is actively contributing to wildfire relief efforts, donating $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This reflects the show's core message of community and support.
