CoD: Black Ops 6 Beta Dates Locked In

Get ready for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta! Activision, during the inaugural Call of Duty podcast, revealed the beta test schedule, split into two phases.

Beta Access:

The early access beta runs from August 30th to September 4th, exclusively for those who pre-ordered Black Ops 6 or have active subscriptions to select Game Pass plans. Following this, open beta access will be available to everyone from September 6th to 9th.

Mark your calendars! The full game launches October 25th, 2024, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

New Game Features:

Treyarch's Associate Director of Design, Matt Scronce, shared exciting details:

• Multiplayer Maps: Black Ops 6 boasts 16 multiplayer maps at launch – 12 standard 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps playable in 6v6 or 2v2 modes.
• Zombies Mode Returns: The popular Zombies mode returns with two brand-new maps.
• Omnimovement: A fresh movement mechanic is introduced.
• Traditional Scorestreaks: The classic scorestreak system makes a comeback, resetting upon player elimination.
• Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot: A dedicated slot for melee weapons eliminates the need to sacrifice a secondary weapon.

A comprehensive Black Ops 6 multiplayer reveal is scheduled for the Call of Duty Next event on August 28th.
