Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial upgrade! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes, including a revamped minion lineup, new features, and a cosmic theme.

Technotavern Transformation:

Bob's Technotavern is getting a major overhaul. Season 9 resets ratings and bids farewell to Trinkets, replacing them with Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll a hero at the selection screen, offering a second chance at a more desirable hero.

Minion Reveal Schedule:

Here's the reveal schedule leading up to launch:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes release.

New Additions and Tweaks:

Season 9 introduces three new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating excitement. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are entering or leaving the pool. A damage cap adjustment is implemented in solo Battlegrounds, limiting early-game damage to 5, increasing to 10 on turn 4, and 15 on turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Minion Rollout:

• December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the game.
• December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the minion pool.
• December 9th: Undead and Elementals are added.
