The Emergence mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks the campaign's halfway point and represents a significant departure from traditional gameplay. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough.

Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

The mission begins with Case and Marshall inside a Kentucky BioTech facility filled with toxic gas. An elevator malfunction leads to a gas mask failure and subsequent hallucinations. After the cutscene, locate a locked red-lit door. Use a hatchet (found on a mannequin) to break it open. Proceed through the hallway, up the stairs, and to the central elevator.

Accessing the Biotechnology Room

Activating the elevator triggers a zombie encounter (hallucination). Eliminate them with the hatchet. A phone call directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll initially receive a map to the Yellow card.

Locating the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

Follow the map to a yellow staircase. Solve the computer puzzle ("Access" and "Lift") in the Director's office to access the A.C.R. room (more zombies!). A mannequin holds the Yellow card, but interacting with it summons an abomination and additional zombies. Before engaging, collect armor, weapons, and importantly, the grappling hook. Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to quickly eliminate the abomination and its horde, then retrieve the Yellow card.

Obtaining the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to reach higher ground and exit the A.C.R. room. Next, acquire the Green card from the Administration Facility. Grapple to the facility; answer the ringing phone. Find four documents and place them in the file display area. Manequins will pursue you; keep them at a distance by sprinting. Document locations: corner desk, left side near a round table, small center table, and cafe near a sink. Defeat the resulting Mangler Zombie to obtain the Green card.

Securing the Blue Card

Grapple across to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone, then locate the Blue card within a glass chamber surrounded by camera stands. Eliminate the Mimic that appears to claim the card. Note: The Mimic can disappear; shoot moving objects to make it reappear.

Retrieving the Red Card

In the East Wing, follow the red carpets and stairs to a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through the red tunnel, climb the ladders, and eliminate zombies. Unlock a door using a blacklight-revealed code, then drain the water within 25 seconds using three switches (one requires the grappling hook). Defeat the Mangler and its zombie horde to obtain the Red card.

Confronting the Disciple

Return to the security desk and insert all four cards. Take the elevator to the top floor. Answer the red phone to initiate the final confrontation with the Disciple and a large zombie horde. Completing this encounter reveals the mission's hallucinatory nature.
