Balance the Board in Mino: A Colorful Match-3 Puzzle Challenge!

A delightful new puzzle game has arrived on Android, and it's called Mino—a charming and simple match-3 puzzler. Much like other games in its genre, Mino challenges you to align three or more identical pieces to clear them from the board. However, it introduces a unique twist that sets it apart from the rest!

Mino Needs You to Be Stable

The key to mastering Mino is balance. As you're busy matching pieces, you must also ensure the board remains stable. If you're not careful, the game can quickly spiral out of control.

In Mino, you place pieces called Minos on the board, striving to match them and keep the game going for as long as you can. With every move you make, the board tilts, adding an extra layer of challenge. If you're not strategic about your placements, your Minos could slide off the board, abruptly ending your game. So, it's not just about matching; you must also consider how your moves affect the board's balance.

Time is always ticking in Mino, but don't worry—power-ups are there to help. You can clear entire columns, launch rockets to stabilize the board, and use a wildcard Mino that can match with any piece. What's more, you can upgrade these power-ups to increase your chances of lasting longer and achieving a higher score. The game also allows you to unlock and upgrade different Minos, boosting your in-game earnings.

Who Are These Minos?

It seems that Otori Studios, the developers behind Mino, drew inspiration from Minions when creating these adorable creatures. The Minos certainly reminded me of those iconic yellow, pill-shaped characters, though they come in a variety of vibrant colors. Take a look at them and see if you agree!

Mino is a fun game with a fresh concept and a decent challenge. Its playful art style and colorful, monster-like Minos give the game a toy-like feel. I certainly enjoyed these little creatures with their tiny spikes and adorable stubby tails.

You can download Mino from the Google Play Store. It's free to play and available globally right now.
