Ubisoft Japan's 30th Anniversary Character Awards: Ezio Auditore Takes the Crown!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has been declared the most popular character in Ubisoft Japan's recent Character Awards! This online competition, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of game development, saw fans vote for their top three favorite characters from the company's extensive library. The voting period ran from November 1st, 2024.
The results, announced on Ubisoft Japan's official website and X (formerly Twitter), revealed Ezio as the clear winner. To mark this achievement, a special webpage showcasing Ezio in a unique artistic style has been launched. Fans can also download four free digital wallpapers featuring Ezio, available for both PCs and smartphones. Furthermore, a lottery will award 30 lucky participants with a special Ezio acrylic stand set, and 10 others will receive an exclusive 180cm Ezio body pillow.
The top ten characters were revealed, with Ezio leading the pack, followed by Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs) in second and Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) in third. The complete top ten list is as follows:
A separate poll for most popular game franchise also saw Assassin's Creed claim the top spot, ahead of Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry rounded out the top five franchises.
