AFK Journey Drops a New Horror-Themed Season Called Chains of Eternity

Farlight Games, the publishing arm of Lilith Games, has just unveiled a thrilling seasonal update for AFK Journey called Chains of Eternity. This update transports players into a captivating wintry wonderland, blending mystery, thrills, and fun into an unforgettable experience.

Cedartown in the Duchy of Whiteridge is now adorned for the Snowspire Festival, but beneath its festive exterior lies a dark secret. Chains of Eternity weaves a gripping narrative of friendship, betrayal, and redemption, wrapped in chilling horror-thriller vibes. This season becomes available for servers that have been active for at least 35 days. To unlock it, players must reach Level 240 with their Hands of Resonance and complete the New Journey quest.

What’s the New Stuff?

Upon unlocking the content, players will find a new quest in Holistone, kicking off the Shattered Loop storyline. The update introduces Elijah & Lailah, the Celestial Twins, who can be recruited through Stargaze Station and the Guild Store. These powerful new heroes will add depth to your team.

For those who missed the Waves of Intrigue season, good news: it's returning. Starting January 20th, you can access it in the Peaks of Time mode after completing The Last Leg quest. This mode allows you to re-experience the season's storyline, gather map resources, and resume from where you left off if you’ve already played it. Your Fish Collection progress and Rustport Fishing Level will carry over, ensuring a seamless continuation.
