Zynga has introduced an exciting new feature called Letter Lock to its popular game, Words With Friends. This feature, eagerly anticipated by many players, offers a fresh solo mode alongside other updates. Dive in to discover everything about it!
Letter Lock introduces a thrilling single-player daily puzzle to Words With Friends. Unlike Wordle, where you type words, Letter Lock challenges you to slide columns of letters up and down to form real words in the entry row. As you successfully create words, additional columns unlock, allowing you to construct even longer words until you reach the puzzle's word-length goal. Each incorrect guess depletes your hearts, and losing too many ends the puzzle. Although Letter Lock differs from Wordle, it shares a similar vibe with its quick, clever, and daily word challenges. Yaron Leyvand, Zynga's Executive Vice President of Mobile Games, emphasized that Letter Lock was developed in response to the demands of long-time players. Introducing innovative gameplay keeps the game vibrant and appealing to a growing audience.
In addition to Letter Lock, Zynga is launching a Spring into Words event, featuring a plethora of new daily puzzles and challenges. Players can enjoy solo modes like Guess Word and Crosswords, along with spring-themed rewards, new Tile Styles, and other special events. If you're passionate about words, grab the game from the Google Play Store.
