While Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is a remake of Ys 3 and continues the franchise’s epic narrative, Gyalva is a new addition to the boss roster. This boss is equipped with a variety of dangerous attacks and can inflict significant damage quickly. Gyalva flies around the bridge, often dislodging its parts with fiery assaults.

It's crucial to upgrade Adol's abilities before facing Gyalva, especially if you're struggling. Aim to reach at least Level 21 and upgrade your gear. This level of preparation isn't overly demanding if you've been diligent in defeating smaller enemies throughout your journey.

Spinning Attacks

Gyalva employs two types of spinning attacks. The first type causes the bridge sections it flies over to spin into the air. The second type sees Gyalva fly over the entire bridge in a straight line, flipping all the plates in its path. Both attacks can be devastating to underleveled players.

To dodge the first attack, move to the sides of the affected area. For the second attack, the safest spots are the ledges at either end of the bridge. Staying near one side allows you to quickly reach a safe spot.
