World of Warcraft introduces a pair of new consumable potions allowing players to temporarily adjust their character's height. While not a full height slider, these Noggenfogger Select elixirs offer a simple and affordable way to customize your appearance.
Patch 11.1, Undermined (currently on the Public Test Realm), brings significant changes. Expect thrilling plot twists in The War Within storyline and updated visuals for many classes.
However, the patch also includes exciting character customization options. Noggenfogger Select UP and Noggenfogger Select DOWN potions subtly increase or decrease character height, stacking up to ten times. These 30-minute effects persist through death, ideal for roleplaying, screenshots, or even dungeons and raids. Available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks (the main Steemwheedle reputation hub in Undermine), these potions cost just over three gold each, are unbound, and not level-locked, allowing easy trading.
While other items drastically alter size, Noggenfogger Select potions offer subtle height adjustments. Even at maximum stacks (10), the height change is only a few inches, as shown in Wowhead screenshots. This contrasts sharply with the dramatic size changes from items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir, providing a more nuanced customization option.
Alchemist Pestlezugg also sells Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-exclusive potion enabling the stylish "lean" emote, previously only available to NPCs. While similar emotes exist for other races in the game files, this potion makes it accessible to Goblins.
Many players welcome these potions, though a permanent height slider remains a desired feature. Until a major character customization overhaul, players can utilize the Seabed Leviathan's Citrine in Cyrce's Circlets, play Colossus Warriors, or rely on Noggenfogger Select and similar consumables to control their character's height.
