Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level

The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the focus often rests on the players themselves, let's examine the character choices among the elite.

Following the World Warrior circuit's conclusion, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data provides a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, though only one player opted for Ryu out of nearly two hundred participants (including eight regional finalists from 24 regions). Even Terry Bogard, the newest addition, was selected by only two players.

Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each chosen as the main character by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (both 11), and JP and Chun-Li (both 10) forming the next tier. Among the less frequently selected characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each serving as the primary character for seven players.

Capcom Cup 11 is set for March in Tokyo, with a million-dollar prize awaiting the champion.
