Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!

EA and Maxis are commemorating The Sims' 25th anniversary with a fantastic gift to fans: The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are back on PC! Available now are The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection, individually or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle.

These Legacy Collections are comprehensive, including nearly all expansions and stuff packs for each game. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection omits the IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still boasts a substantial amount of content. Both collections even include bonus content: The Sims 1 receives a Throwback Fit Kit, and The Sims 2 gets a Grunge Revival Kit.

PlayThis marks a significant return for these classic titles. The Sims 1 was initially only available on disc, making it inaccessible to many modern players. The Sims 2, while previously available through an Ultimate Collection, was later removed from digital storefronts. Now, with these new Legacy Collections, all four main Sims games are readily available digitally.

Originally reviewed with scores of 9.5/10 (The Sims 1) and 8.5/10 (The Sims 2), these games retain their charm despite their age. Experience the quirky gameplay, relative simplicity, challenging aspects, and enduring legacy of the original Sims titles.

The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection are available now on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app.
