Bandai Namco is sending out emails inviting players to a closed beta test for Elden Ring: Nightreign, scheduled for February 14-17, 2025. The test will focus on the game's three-player cooperative mode.

However, be warned! Due to the game's popularity, fraudulent invitations are circulating. Scammers are sending emails mimicking official Bandai Namco notifications, containing links to fake websites designed to steal player accounts. These sites often resemble Steam.

Players are urged to exercise extreme caution with any unsolicited links. Always verify the sender's authenticity through official Bandai Namco channels before clicking any links. If in doubt, err on the side of caution and avoid suspicious emails.

A notable change in Elden Ring: Nightreign is the removal of the in-game messaging system. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision, stating that the approximately forty-minute session length doesn't allow sufficient time for players to send or read messages effectively. The feature was disabled to optimize the limited playtime.
