Get ready for a fiery Shadow Raid Day in Pokémon GO! On January 19th, Ho-Oh descends in a special event, offering trainers a chance to catch this powerful Fire-type Pokémon.

This inaugural Shadow Raid Day of 2025 presents a fantastic opportunity to add a formidable Ho-Oh to your roster. Shadow Raids, introduced in 2023, provide a unique way to obtain these powerful variants. Following successful battles against Team GO Rocket, trainers can now encounter Shadow Ho-Oh.

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, January 19, 2025
• Time: 2 pm to 5 pm local time
• Featured Pokémon: Shadow Ho-Oh (Shiny Shadow Ho-Oh encounters increased!)
• Raid Passes: Up to 7 free Raid Passes from spinning Gyms (15 with a $5 ticket).
• Special Move: Teach Shadow Ho-Oh the devastating Sacred Fire Charged Attack using a Charged TM.

A special $5 ticket will significantly enhance your Raid Day experience, boosting your maximum Raid Pass count to 15. This ticket also unlocks increased Rare Candy XL drop rates, a 50% XP bonus, and double Stardust from raids – all benefits lasting until 10 pm local time on January 19th.
