Pokemon Go\'s upcoming Scattered to the Winds event lets you nab new Shiny Pokemon

It might be February, but Pokémon Go is heating things up with its new Scattered to the Wind event! This event offers a flurry of exciting rewards, research tasks, and boosted encounter rates.

Get ready for 2x XP for spinning PokéStops and a whopping 5x XP for your first spin each day. You can also open up to 40 Gifts daily (or 60 with the Eggs-pedition Access: February ticket). Plus, you'll have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Pidgey!

But the excitement doesn't stop there! By pinning postcards from around the world, you'll significantly increase your chances of encountering Shiny Scatterbug, Shiny Petilil, and Shiny Vivillon. The event also includes new Field Research Task rewards and a paid Timed Research.
