Pokémon GO Adventure Week 2024: Epic Encounters & Mega Rewards

Get ready for adventure! Pokémon GO's Adventure Week 2024 is back, bringing a flurry of exciting in-game rewards and encounters. Following July's events, this August event promises a thrilling experience for all trainers.

What Awaits You?

Adventure Week kicks off Friday, August 2nd, at 10 am and runs until Monday, August 12th. This year's focus? Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon! Prepare for increased wild encounters, boosted hatching rates from 7 km Eggs, and themed Field Research tasks all centered around these powerful creatures.

Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of encountering a Shiny Aerodactyl are significantly increased. Other Rock-type Pokémon like Diglett and Bunnelby will also appear more frequently in the wild, adding to the excitement. Keep your eyes peeled—that elusive Aerodactyl might just surprise you.

Those 7 km Eggs are packed with prehistoric power! Expect to hatch Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. These same Pokémon can also be found through themed Field Research, which also offers rewards like Mega Energy for Aerodactyl.

Spinning PokéStops during Adventure Week yields double XP, with a massive five times XP bonus for your first spin each day! And if hatching Pokémon is your thing, you'll enjoy double XP for that too.

Adventure Week isn't just about increased encounters and XP. New PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges await, rewarding you with Stardust, Pokémon encounters, and even more Aerodactyl Mega Energy. Prepare for challenging five-star raids featuring Moltres, Thundurus Incarnate Forme, and Xerneas.
