The possibility of Marvel Rivals launching on the Nintendo Switch 2, once deemed impossible, now seems increasingly likely. While NetEase previously dismissed a release on the original Switch due to technical limitations, the upcoming console could alter that.
At the DICE Summit, producer Weikang Wu confirmed ongoing discussions with Nintendo. The primary challenge remains optimizing performance on the new hardware:
"The first-generation Switch lacked the power for our envisioned gameplay. However, if the Switch 2 can handle it, we're prepared to bring the game to the platform."

Following the official Nintendo Switch 2 announcement, major publishers are expressing strong interest. Phil Spencer indicated Xbox's intention to bring its games to the system, and Electronic Arts (EA) has also shown support.
Marvel Rivals itself is set for further expansion, with the anticipated addition of two Fantastic Four members in future updates.
