The creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are continuously engaging the community by unveiling various facets of the game. This time, the focus is on the immersive village activities that players can expect. Warhorse Studios has revealed that the protagonist, Indřich (Henry), will engage in a variety of tasks including drinking, herding sheep, shooting with a crossbow and bow, praying, hunting, and even solving local problems like finding an antidote for the injured. These activities enrich the game's realism and player immersion, set to launch on February 4, 2025.
However, the anticipation surrounding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been met with controversy. After discovering several subpoenas related to the game, activists have rallied against it, attempting to cancel the project. Influential figures like Grummz, along with other campaigners driven by specific agendas, have thrust Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 into the spotlight. The situation escalated when rumors about the inclusion of certain content and "progressive" concepts spread following the news of the game's ban in Saudi Arabia. This led to a wave of criticism on social media, with efforts to cancel the game and discourage support for its developers.
In response to the swirling rumors, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the public relations manager for Warhorse Studios, urged the public to place their trust in the developers and to be cautious about believing everything they encounter online. This statement aims to reassure fans and maintain the integrity of the game's development process amidst the controversy.
