Diablo IV Season 7: Season of Witchcraft Unveiled

Diablo IV's Season 7, "Season of Witchcraft," commences January 21st, inviting players to collaborate with the Witches of Hawezar. This season introduces exciting new features, including Occult Gems, enhanced powers, formidable Headrotten Bosses, and enticing seasonal rewards.

Blizzard continues its commitment to Diablo IV's post-launch support, delivering regular updates, seasonal content, and major expansions. Seasonal content keeps players engaged between major releases, and Season of Witchcraft promises to be particularly significant, marking the start of "Chapter 2" following the conclusion of Season 6's "Chapter 1."

Launching January 21st at 10 AM PST, Season of Witchcraft tasks players with recovering stolen heads from the Tree of Whispers. Players will harness witchcraft powers, granted by the Witches of Hawezar, and wield Occult Gems for enhanced abilities, some reminiscent of Diablo III. These powers will prove crucial in battles against mutated Headrotten Bosses, who yield valuable rewards, including Occult Gems.

Season 7 Launch Date:

  • January 21st, 10 AM PST

Beyond new challenges, Season 7 incorporates quality-of-life improvements. A revamped armory allows players to save and switch between loadouts. New seasonal rewards await, including unique and legendary items, the Raven pet (via the Season Journey), and Battle Pass rewards.

Owners of the Vessel of Hatred expansion receive exclusive content, gaining access to three new Runes during Season 7. While expansion-exclusive seasonal content is expected to continue, players seeking a complete Season 7 experience should own Vessel of Hatred.

Further seasonal content is planned for Diablo IV throughout 2025, with a new expansion anticipated this fall. The specifics of the next expansion remain undisclosed, but players will have ample content to enjoy in the interim.
