The iPhone 16e succeeds the iPhone SE, last updated in 2022, but offers a larger form factor and improved specifications compared to its predecessor. While priced higher than the SE ($429), at $599 it undercuts the standard iPhone 16 ($799) and even the iPhone 15 ($699).

iPhone 16e Specs

The iPhone 16e boasts a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch (instead of the iPhone 16's Dynamic Island). It features the same A18 chip as the standard iPhone 16, but with a 4-core GPU, supporting Apple Intelligence and all iOS 18 AI features. Apple's new C1 cellular modem promises enhanced battery life—up to 26 hours of video playback.

However, MagSafe charging is absent. While Qi wireless charging is supported, the lack of magnetic attachment is a notable omission. Color options are limited to black and white.
