Ghostrunner Devs Tease New Game

One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, is known for its blend of brutal action and cyberpunk aesthetics. In Ghostrunner, precision, agility, and quick reflexes are paramount. One-hit kills are the norm, but the protagonist's vulnerability means careful planning is essential. Both Ghostrunner titles were critically acclaimed, achieving average scores of 81% and 79% for the first installment, and 80% and 76% for the sequel.

Today, One More Level revealed a new image hinting at their upcoming project, Cyber Slash. While the studio is also developing Project Swift, slated for release in 2028, the newly released image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash transports players to the first half of the 19th century, offering a dark and reimagined Napoleonic era. Expect an epic adventure featuring legendary heroes battling unknown forces and terrifying threats.

Gameplay promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from the traditional Souls-like formula. While parrying and targeting weak points remain crucial, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique evolutionary element to the combat.
