Dresden Files Co-op Card Game Adds Its Sixth Expansion ‘Faithful Friends’

For fans of mystery, the supernatural, and card games, The Dresden Files Co-op Card Game needs no introduction. Now, with its sixth major expansion, Faithful Friends, the game gets even more exciting.

Published by Hidden Achievement and developed by Evil Hat Productions, this game is based on Jim Butcher's popular book series (17 books strong, starting in 2000).

What's New in Faithful Friends?

This expansion delves into the world of Peace Talks and Battle Ground, books 16 and 17 in the series, introducing corresponding new card decks. Two new playable characters join the roster: River Shoulders and Sir Waldo.

Expect increased challenges and fresh gameplay mechanics in Faithful Friends. New cases present tougher obstacles, innovative card interactions, and formidable new enemies.

The Dresden Files Co-op Card Game Story

The game centers around Harry Dresden, a wizard PI battling supernatural threats in Chicago. Players encounter a diverse cast of creatures, from vampires and faeries to demons, spirits, and werewolves.

Along with Harry, key characters like Murphy, Susan, Michael, and the Alphas are featured. Gameplay incorporates storylines from the novels, combined with the randomized "Side Jobs" scenarios drawn from the short story collection.
