Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft and the iconic Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a unique blend of classic dungeon-building and Lovecraftian horror.
Players will cultivate their own sinister cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the 1920s setting. Building a sprawling lair, researching forbidden arts, and summoning Lovecraftian monsters are key components of gameplay. Expansion involves recruiting cultists, engaging in street-level recruitment, and completing objectives. Naturally, rival cults and the authorities will pose significant threats, demanding strategic trap deployment and spellcasting to safeguard the lair.
