Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled two consecutive videos. Yesterday, an esports trailer included a brief T-1000 teaser, but the iconic Terminator isn’t the next fighter to join the roster. Conan the Barbarian arrives next week for premium edition owners, with the MK1 team showcasing his gameplay trailer today.

Conan embodies the classic Big-Body archetype. His devastating attacks likely deliver heavy damage, though he sacrifices speed and agility. The extended reach of his sword may offset this, promising intriguing matchups against General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander.

While Conan bears Arnold Schwarzenegger’s likeness, his fatality lacks flair. He simply submerges opponents in an acid pool, falling short of the spectacle seen in other MK1 finishers. Still, the character’s appeal lies beyond his finisher, potentially offering engaging gameplay.
