Ubisoft has announced another delay for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing the release date back to March 20, 2025. Initially slated for a February 14th launch, this latest postponement adds a further five weeks to the wait. The publisher cites the need for additional refinement and polishing, incorporating valuable player feedback.

The game's journey to release has been marked by setbacks. A previous delay, announced in September 2024, shifted the launch from November 15th to February 14th, 2025. While the initial delay was attributed to unspecified development challenges, this second delay explicitly focuses on integrating player feedback. Marc-Alexis Coté, the game's vice president executive producer, emphasized Ubisoft's commitment to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience shaped by player input. Both delays, however, share a common goal: providing the development team with extra time for refinement and polish.
