Zenless Zone Zero: Character Tier List

This Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) tier list ranks all 1.0 characters, updated December 24, 2024. Meta shifts with new character releases, so rankings are subject to change. For example, while Grace was initially top-tier, the addition of powerful Anomaly units like Miyabi has diminished her relevance.

S-Tier: These units excel in their roles and synergize effectively.

• Miyabi: Exceptional Frost damage dealer. Requires strategic play to maximize her potential.

• Jane Doe: Superior to Piper; high Crit Assault Anomaly damage.

• Yanagi: Excels at triggering Disorder, ideal with other Anomaly units like Miyabi.

• Zhu Yuan: High DPS with Shotshells; works well with Stun and Support characters (especially Qingyi and Nicole in v1.1).

• Caesar: Exceptional Defense Agent; provides significant buffs, debuffs, and crowd control.

• Qingyi: Universal Stunner; high DMG multiplier on stunned enemies.

• Lighter: Stun Agent with significant buffs, best with Fire and Ice characters.

• Lycaon: Ice/Stun unit; reduces Ice resistance and boosts Daze DMG, essential for Ice teams.

• Ellen: Ice Attack Agent; synergizes exceptionally with Lycaon and Soukaku.

• Harumasa: Free Electric Attack character; high damage with proper setup.

• Soukaku: Support; buffs Ice units, particularly Ellen and Lycaon.

• Rina: Support; deals damage and provides PEN (defense ignore), buffs Shock reactions.

A-Tier: Strong in specific team compositions, but outperformed by S-Tier in overall effectiveness.

• Nicole: Ether Support; shreds enemy DEF and boosts Ether DMG.

• Seth: Shielder/Support; niche for Anomaly DPS.

• Lucy: Support; off-field DMG and ATK buff.

• Piper: High damage EX Special Attack; effective in Anomaly teams.

• Grace: Strong Anomaly character; quickly applies Shock. Relevance diminished by newer Anomaly Agents.

• Koleda: Reliable Fire/Stun character; good in teams with other Fire units.

• Anby: Reliable Stunner; easily interrupted.

• Soldier 11: Straightforward Fire Attack character; high DMG.

B-Tier: Offer some utility, but outclassed by higher-tier options.

• Ben: Defensive character; slow, limited team benefits.

• Nekomata: AoE Attack unit; heavily reliant on team synergy.

C-Tier: Currently offer little to no significant contribution.

• Corin: Attack character; outperformed by other Physical Attack units.

• Billy: Attack character; low DMG output.

• Anton: Attack/Electric unit; low DPS, single-target focus.
