Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departing games. The January additions include a mix of genres, catering to various player preferences.

New Games Arriving in January 2025:

The official Xbox blog announced seven new games joining the service, starting with Road 96 on January 7th, available across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). This follows its previous appearance on the service and subsequent removal. The remaining six games launch later in the month:

• Road 96: Available January 7th (All Tiers)
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• My Time at Sandrock: January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• Rolling Hills: January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• UFC 5: January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate Only)
• Diablo: January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass Only)

Noteworthy is the exclusivity of Diablo and UFC 5. Diablo is limited to Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive. The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription.

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:

Microsoft also confirmed the departure of six titles on January 15th:

• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
