Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are relatively simple yet highly rewarding, especially if you're aiming to gather additional resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Below is a comprehensive guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and the steps to solve them.

Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Restoring Morph Paintings is a straightforward process that involves finding the correct paintings and placing them on the appropriate pedestals. Each pedestal comes with a description that hints at the painting it needs. Once you identify the right portrait, use your Levitator utility to position it correctly. The game typically switches to the Levitator automatically, but you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left if needed.

Currently, the game features two such paintings, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.

Within the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore all three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower houses a Morph Painting puzzle that you can solve by following these steps (use the large central painting as a reference point):

• Swap the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
• Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
• Shift the painting behind the chairs on the right to the front-right position.

Upon solving the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The Trials of Old quest requires you to complete four distinct trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. One of these trials, the Trial of Wisdom, features another Morph Painting puzzle. The goal here is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals to form a coherent story from left to right. The solution is illustrated in the image above.

A handy tip to confirm you're placing the correct Morph Painting on the right pedestal is to observe if the frame lights up after insertion. This visual cue can help you bypass the puzzle's mechanics effectively.
