Get ready for a cosmic transformation with the launch of LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars, set to hit later this month. This update promises a stellar experience, taking you on an adventure through the Dual Nova galaxy, where you'll explore the realms of the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.
The patch introduces three exciting new champions, each bringing unique abilities that can turn the tide of battle. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes massive area-of-effect damage and can teleport his team across the map with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives on chaos, using Paranoia to plunge foes into darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time to slow down enemies and even bring allies back to life with Chronoshift.
Several champions are also receiving significant reworks. Garen's Courage ability now scales over time, enhancing his durability, while his Judgment now shreds through enemy armor. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage output and life steal capabilities. Smaller tweaks are also on the way for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Beyond champion updates, the game introduces a new Bandle-inspired Rift for non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that spawn through portals during the laning phase. Mages will benefit from long-awaited item updates, including the new Bandle Fantasy item that boosts burst damage. The Hextech GLP800 now slows enemies with frost bombs, while Malignance enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode is also getting a facelift with the start of a new season alongside the launch of the Challenger’s Star. This includes updates to the Ranked store and a streamlined way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, introducing AAAARAM, a revamped ARAM mode with added augments and galactic visuals.
The Wild Pass for this update will feature two dazzling skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate's new look introduces an entirely fresh skinline, adding to the excitement of the patch.
LoL: Wild Rift’s version 6.1 patch is scheduled for release on April 16th. For more details, be sure to check out the official website.
