A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered an exciting new glitch that lets users equip camos from 2023's Modern Warfare 3 on Black Ops 6 weapons. This feature, which many players believe should be standard, allows the use of MW3's hard-earned camos on the meta weapons from Treyarch Studios' latest game, Black Ops 6, which are now prominent in Warzone.
In Black Ops 6, players are grinding for the epic mastery camos, which require completing in-game challenges without additional purchases. After achieving 100 headshots and earning gold, diamond, and dark spine on numerous weapons, players can unlock the coveted dark matter camo. However, these achievements from Modern Warfare 3 have been sidelined in Warzone since the launch of Black Ops 6. A new glitch might change that.
For those who have unlocked various weapon camos in Modern Warfare 3, there's now a way to equip them on Black Ops 6 weapons within Warzone. However, this is an unofficial method and could be patched by developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software in a future update. The glitch was shared by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto.
Executing this glitch requires a friend's help. Start by launching a private match in Warzone, equipping a Black Ops 6 weapon in the first loadout slot, and joining your friend's lobby. Next, equip a Modern Warfare 3 weapon in the first loadout slot and repeatedly select the desired camo. While doing this, the host should switch to a private match. After completing these steps, the friend must leave the private match. Then, return to the weapon and spam the camo selection button while your friend re-enters a private match. Once done, the MW3 camo should appear on the BO6 weapon.
For players still working on unlocking Black Ops 6's mastery camos, Treyarch is developing a new challenge tracking feature. This feature, last seen in Modern Warfare 3, was missing from Black Ops 6 but will be added in a future update, much to the relief of fans.
