Video: Evelyn Gameplay, the new stripping heroine from Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero's developers, miHoYo (HoYoverse), unveil a captivating new heroine: Evelyn Chevalier. Even before her official release, Evelyn captured player attention due to a unique battle mechanic – she dramatically sheds her cape, using it as a weapon against enemies.

Evelyn is an S-rank, Fire-elemental Assault character, joining Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in the game's second 1.5 update banner.

The 1.5 update also includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and an additional 300 for technical improvements related to the update, delivered via in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers around focused target attacks. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating extended attack chains. Her multi-stage and special attacks utilize "Forbidden Bounds," tethering her to the primary target. These attacks generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling powerful fire-based abilities that inflict substantial damage. Her signature move, discarding her cape as a projectile, has already become a fan favorite.
