Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this seventh installment marks the 29th comic released for TF2, including special event and themed stories. The release is particularly noteworthy, as it's been seven years since the last comic in 2017.

Valve playfully acknowledged the extended wait, likening the comic's creation to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that while the tower's builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players only endured a "mere" seven-year wait.
