For all the completionists and trophy hunters eager to conquer every challenge in Monster Hunter Wilds, we've got you covered on unlocking all the hidden achievements. Let's dive into how you can earn these elusive trophies.
Monster Hunter Wilds features 12 secret achievements. Seven are tied to the main story and will unlock as you progress through the game. The remaining five are linked to optional objectives, which we'll detail below:
Let's break down how to achieve each of these.
To catch this celestial creature, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip some screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. When you spot it, shoot it with a screamer pod and quickly use your Capture Net to snag this shimmering beast.
You can unlock this achievement in various maps, but Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest is a prime location. Look for a small puddle of water and use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab lurking there. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature with an Ancient Wyvern Coin, hinting at its presence.
Once you reach High Rank missions, you can start crafting Artian gear. To get a Rarity 8 weapon, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear. This will give you the necessary materials to forge the weapon and unlock this achievement.
Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones; the former are marked in purple on the minimap, while the latter are in red. From Chapter 4 onwards, when you enter High Rank content, Tempered monsters will start appearing. Slaying or capturing 50 of these will earn you the Seasoned Hunter achievement.
This achievement is straightforward but requires some hunting. Only the following monsters count as Apex Predators:
Hunting 50 of these formidable beasts will secure your place at the top of the food chain.
