The SteamOS-powered Lenovo Legion Go S comes in two configurations. The first model features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, priced at $549.99—matching the cost of the 512GB OLED Steam Deck. The second model boasts a slightly more powerful AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 32GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD, priced at $749.99.
Both models offer a 120Hz gaming handheld experience and include two USB-C ports. You can easily expand the storage using a microSD card. They also feature trigger locks for hair triggers, enhancing gameplay in competitive shooters like Marvel Rivals.
With more powerful chips than the Steam Deck, these devices should be capable of running recent games that are challenging for the Deck, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds.

Valve has announced plans to make SteamOS available for other non-Steam Deck handhelds soon. This means you'll soon be able to install SteamOS on a wide range of handheld gaming PCs, possibly coinciding with the launch of these Lenovo Legion Go S models. If you're looking for devices that are more powerful than the Steam Deck and run SteamOS, these models should be at the top of your list.
