Sony has announced a State of Play presentation scheduled for tomorrow, June 4.
In a PlayStation Blog update, Sony Interactive Entertainment content communications manager Tim Turi confirmed viewers will receive "news and updates on must-play titles coming to PS5." Turi elaborated: “The showcase spotlights an exciting lineup of games from developers around the world.”
The 40+ minute presentation begins June 4 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.
While details remain limited, speculation suggests we’ll see more of Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 5 exclusive sequel, Ghost of Yotei, scheduled for release in October.
Viewers might also get updates on Insomniac’s Wolverine project, along with potential reveals from Sony’s other development teams—including God of War creator Sony Santa Monica, Days Gone developer Bend Studio, and Horizon developer Guerrilla, currently working on a multiplayer spin-off.
Sony-owned Bungie is also developing Marathon, though following the studio's art plagiarism controversy, it's uncertain how much of the game will be shown. In addition, Fairgames—now without Jade Raymond leading the project—continues development. Last month, Sony introduced a new PlayStation studio, teamLFG, and teased its first title, a live service incubation project.
The presentation may also feature titles from external developers published by Sony, such as Phantom Blade Zero.
