Just over a week later, on February 6, guilds will have the opportunity to tackle the legendary Naxxramas raid, featuring new challenges and twists for players to conquer.

Phase 7 of Season of Discovery follows closely on the heels of Phase 6, which saw players return to Silithus for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and the Ahn'qiraj raids. During their adventures in Ahn'qiraj, players encountered a mysterious Shadowy Figure lurking in the desert ruins. While speculation suggested this figure might be Xal'atath, the primary antagonist from World of Warcraft: The War Within, the NPC only offered cryptic comments about the Old Gods in Phase 6. It's uncertain whether this Shadowy Figure will make a final appearance in Phase 7.

Although Phase 7 marks the conclusion of Season of Discovery, World of Warcraft Classic players can look forward to new challenges. The phase will go live on Tuesday, January 28, after some server maintenance. Once the servers are back online, players can dive into the new Karazhan Crypts 5-player dungeon in Deadwind Pass, exploring the depths beneath the iconic Karazhan tower, which later became a 10-player raid in The Burning Crusade. Alongside the dungeon, the Scourge Invasions event will unleash hordes of undead creatures across various zones and cities in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Players can engage in new Scourge Invasion quests at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands and collect Necrotic Runes from defeated undead to acquire new consumable items.
