Rust Unveils Major Update with Improved Cooking, Farming Features

Rust, the renowned multiplayer survival game, has just released an exciting new update known as The Crafting Update. This patch significantly broadens players' creative horizons with a suite of innovative features. One of the standout additions is the culinary workbench, which allows survivors to whip up gourmet meals like grilled chicken legs, perfectly complemented by a shot of Siberian vodka. Crafting these dishes requires specific recipes, and well-prepared food not only tantalizes the taste buds but also offers stat boosts and gameplay-enhancing modifiers.

Chickens and chicks can now be kept in coops, where they'll thrive when provided with the right care. Each chick's well-being depends on four crucial attributes: Hunger, Thirst, Love, and Sunlight. Failing to meet these needs can lead to the unfortunate demise of the birds. Chicken meat, once obtained, will spoil over time unless preserved in a working refrigerator. Players will also benefit from timers on food items, indicating when they'll expire.

For those with a penchant for sweets, the wilderness now hides wild beehives on trees. Extracting honeycombs and transferring them to player-crafted hives made from wooden boxes is a delicate process. Bees are not to be underestimated, as they can be fierce adversaries; players must don protective suits, drench themselves in water, or resort to flamethrowers to avoid their stings. A novel weapon, the Bee Grenade, designed to look like a jar of honey, unleashes three swarms of aggressive bees upon impact, sending opponents scrambling for safety.

The engineering workbench has undergone a complete overhaul, introducing a dedicated tech tree for plumbing and electricity. This enables players to construct automated systems and even entire factories, revolutionizing the gameplay experience. In a move to enhance the gaming environment, developers have introduced premium servers, exclusively accessible to players whose Rust inventory is valued at $15 or more. This initiative aims to weed out cheaters and disruptive players, ensuring a more seamless and enjoyable experience for dedicated gamers.
